I’m obsessed with the pequi styling gel! I’ve tried so many gels over the years and this is the first one that I’ve tried that doesn’t make my hair feel too stiff & sticky. My curls look defined, beautiful & in-tact till my next wash day.

I think this gel is good, but I would describe it as more of a soft/light hold. I've used it for slickbacks and taming flyaways (which it is great for) but if you're looking for a true medium hold gel for your curls, I don't think it lives up to that. However, I rate it four stars because of how well it tames my flyaways!
I have relatively straight/low wave hair so I don’t often wear my hair air dried. So the main reason why I use a gel is to get a bit more hold in my hair before a blow out or to slick hairs for slick buns or different updos. The gel/pomade I usually use for my sleek buns makes my hair completely matted with product. So much so that I typically only do a sleek bun right before a wash day. At the risk of this sounding gross lol, I was able to do a sleek bun with this gel and actually brush my hair out and wear it down the following day! I was completely shocked because it did such a good job at taming my flyaways in the bun. I also used this in my hair before blowing out my hair and curling it and I think it helped keep my curls in longer. I love the scent of the gel too. 5 stars!
