Executive Assistant

Ceremonia is seeking a reliable and resourceful Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant will work directly with the Founder and CEO, Babba Rivera and will be responsible for performing a number of administrative duties. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support all communications the CEO is directly or indirectly involved in, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with team, brand partners, investors and any stakeholders
  • Mindfully and proactively manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, and schedule meetings, appointments and manage travel itineraries based on agreed-upon priorities
  • Oversee, project manage and coordinate brand collaborations and photo shoots for the CEO as well as handle talent negotiations with brands on behalf of the CEO
  • Support the CEO with errands such as purchasing items, handling deliveries and packages and other administrative tasks as applicable
  • Act as a liaison between CEO and the team, including taking meetings on behalf of the CEO reporting back with meeting notes and next steps
  • Support the broader team with company-wide initiatives and events 
  • Prepare internal and external facing documents and decks for team members and partners
  • Arrange company events such as team retreats and celebrations

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • 1-3 years of EA experience in fast-paced environment preferred
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with excellent multi-tasking abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, friendly and professional demeanor
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • The candidate must uphold a strict level of confidentiality at all times
  • The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • The candidate must have a driver's license and be comfortable driving to CEO’s upstate home and back
  • The candidate should be comfortable around dogs

Junior Graphic Designer

Ceremonia is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer. The Junior Graphic Designer will work directly with the Art Director, Maristella Gonzalez and will be responsible for performing a number of creative duties. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with a modern approach. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support Creative and Marketing teams with day-to-day design needs
  • Design clear engaging and on-brand graphic communications for print, web and social. This will include marketing/communication inserts, website and social media graphics and other branded assets as needed
  • Support with new and innovative concepts for all marketing channels 
  • Retouch and edit images when needed 
  • Concept and execute engaging graphic content 
  • Research new trends and techniques, platforms and tools 
  • Source inspiration images and references for campaigns
  • Work closely with the Creative team to translate messaging concepts into branded assets
  • Understand the Ceremonia brand aesthetic and be able to follow brand guidelines to ensure all creative deliverables are on-brand and appropriate
  • Apply Gif/Video editing for social and web purposes to help amplify the brand’s existing content 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Ideal candidate should have completed a BA in Graphic Design or other formal design training
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar position at a design agency or in-house for brand team
  • Experience designing digital content and print content such as web assets, social media, online advertising, email campaigns preferred
  • Maintain organized digital files and physical samples 
  • Takes direction and constructive feedback well, while also having the ability to work autonomously and provide self-direction when needed 
  • Portfolio that shows a range of projects and your approach to creative thinking
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience with After Effects and/or Premier Pro preferred
  • Strong typography skills and sense of composition
  • You are passionate about creating delightful moments across the entire user experience, including packaging
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and consistency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, friendly and professional demeanor

Social Media & Community Intern

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dependable social media & community intern to join our growing team, with a start date of April '21. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating social content for Ceremonia’s IG, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook
  • Brainstorm content creation opportunities for community members and internal team
  • Assist in onboarding new members to Ceremonia’s community program
  • Support gifting efforts, including shipping product to Ceremonia’s community 
  • Help manage conversations with influencers, community members, and other talent regarding content creation and scheduling when necessary
  • Scout influencers across a wide range of social media platforms to bring into our community and seed upon product launches
  • Help plan and execute community events and initiatives
  • Ongoing miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed including but not limited to scheduling meetings, packing and shipping sample shipments, organizing mailing lists, keeping up with inventory of swag and samples, sourcing packaging material for samples

Requirements & Qualifications 

  • Fluent in Spanish & English, proficient in writing in Spanish as well  
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about all social media platforms listed above, especially TikTok, Twitter, and Youtube
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Self-starter with can-do attitude
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with G-Suite
  • Passionate about beauty and Latinx culture
  • Experience with graphic design is not required but encouraged
  • The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Based in New York City and is comfortable meeting in person when necessary, respecting COVID-19 precautions
