Social Media & Community Intern

We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dependable social media & community intern to join our growing team, with a start date of Feb '21. Please email your application with the subject line: "Social Media & Community Intern" to, attaching resume and cover letter. 


  • Assist in creating social content for Ceremonia's IG, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook 
  • Brainstorm content creation opportunities for community members and internal team
  • Assist in onboarding new members to Ceremonia's community program 
  • Support gifting efforts, including shipping product to Ceremonia's community
  • Help manage conversations with influencers, community members, and other talent regarding content creation and scheduling when necessary
  • Scout influencers across a wide range of social media platforms to bring into our community and seed upon product launches
  • Help plan and execute community events and initiatives 
  • Support ongoing miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed including but not limited to scheduling meetings, packing and shipping sample shipments, organizing mailing lists, keeping up with inventory of swag and samples


  • Fluent in Spanish & English (including writing proficiency in Spanish)
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about all social media platforms listed above, especially TikTok, Twitter and YouTube 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and be proactive 
  • Self-starter with can-do attitude 
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about beauty and Latinx culture
  • The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • The candidate should be based in New York City and comfortable meeting in-person when necessary, respecting COVID-19 precautions
