The term "fragrance" has historically been a loophole for brands to hide not-so-great ingredients. US law does not require companies to be transparent about ingredients in fragrance/perfume, and can often be some combination of approximately 4,000 hidden ingredients!
We believe in the right to know.
We are at the forefront of changing this standard. At Ceremonia, we advocate for radical transparency, and fully disclose our ingredient lists - even for our fragrances, which most brands consider a “trade secret". In addition, all of our formulas contain less than 1% fragrance.
