I absolutely love this scent. It's complex and contradictory — woodsy and deep but also fresh, sweet, and light. It's like walking through a rich forest on a spring day after it's just rained.
A beautiful one-of-a-kind fragrance that had me obsessed since I got a à sample of it in a gift with purchase from Credo. I had to buy the full size perfume de la tierra! the hair products made by Ceremonia make the routines of everyday life— like washing hair—seem kind of magical. And that’s how this fragrance is—a bit magical.
The description is spot on, there is something so nostalgic about this scent. I’m from Latinoamérica and this scent has something so familiar that I can’t really place, it has a sweet warmth, yet it’s earthy and fresh. It’s truly a beautiful and complex scent and I’m so glad I purchased it.
Very well done . A nice balance of woods and citrus . Very versatile . I could see wearing this in any season. Nothing really dominates which makes it very unisex. A blind buy that was successful. I bought it at Sephora, but it was not something that was on display. They had to get a key to unlock it out of a locked storage draw above the Ceremonia hair product display. The longevity on this fragrance is not exceptional . It is short lived, but I did not take a star away from this review because of fair performance. In my book, what would you otherwise expect for $69.
I'm not usually into fragrance, but I love how all of the Ceremonia products I've purchased smell. Just deep and earthy with a bit of sweetness and fruit. While the perfume is a bit more masculine, it works so well when it's combined with my skin. It's woodsy, almost spicy? But there's also a lot of femininity in the scent as well. This fragrance lasted about eight hours on my skin, and it slowly transformed throughout the day as it mellowed out. I personally find it extremely calming, especially at the end when I only catch a faint smell as I'm walking.
If you're looking for something that's feminine, I don't suggest getting this. But if you're looking for a unique smell that leans masculine and smells better and better on your skin as the day goes on... please try this.
I'm very particular about the scents I put on my body and usually never buy anything without smelling it first. I'm obsessed with Ceremonia hair care, so thought I would take a leap on this perfume. This has become my new "go to" scent and I love the way it's not too fruity or flowery. It's the perfect combination of all the scents you would want and gives a beautiful feminine earth smell that doesn't overpower at all!! It's literally the best.
